HBO Max is all set to revive Adventure time a year after it ended on Cartoon Network. The series, created by Pendelton, produced by Cartoon Network Studios and airing on HBO Max, will have four one-hour special episodes.
Competing with Disney+, Netflix, Apple TV, and Amazon, HBO Max will Gremlins, Friends, The Fresh Price of Bel-Air, The Boondocks, Top Gear, Doctor Who, and Adventure Time: Distant Islands.
The four miniseries will be of one hour each. ‘BMO’, the first episode will focus on a Video Game come to life and his fight against the threats posed to him. ‘obsidian’ the second episode will revolve around the adventures of Princess Bubblegum and Marcelin.
Peppermint will be featured in episode three ‘Wizard City’ and episode four ‘Together Again’ will focus on the reunion of Finn and Jake.
Set in the Land of Ooo, Adventure Time: Distant Islands is all set to air on HBO Max. BMO and Obsidian are to debut in 2020 and the other two episodes will also follow suit.
The four miniseries are aimed at becoming a beautiful finale to the perfect series, whose finale, though very good, also left room for more.
