Lori Harvey, Steve Harvey’s 23-year-old stepdaughter was arrested on October. 20 for allegedly hitting a parked vehicle and attempting to flee the scene.
The stepdaughter of the famous TV show, “Family Feud”, host- Steve Harvey was charged with two felonies. Steve Harvey is an American comedian, businessman and entertainer. He hosts one of the popular shows “The Steve Harvey Morning Show”, “Family Feud”, “Celebrity Family Feud”, “the Miss Universe competition” (since 2015) and “Fox’s New Year’s Eve” (since 2017).
The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office charged Harvey with one count of resisting, delaying, obstructing a peace officer and one count of hit and run leading to property damage.
On Monday, a mouthpiece from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office confirmed.
TMZ confirmed that the trial for the 23-year-old was set for January 21st. According to a City Attorney’s office spokesperson, if proved guilty, Lori is likely to face one year in prison for the misdemeanors.
Authorities told that the model’s car Mercedes SUV was found crashed into another parked vehicle she had hit, in Moreno Drive, Los Angeles, California. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
Although she was recognized by a witness who saw Lori flew away from the scene right after slamming and crashing into a parked Toyota Prius. Which justifies it as hit and run. Yet, Lori Harvey has kept her innocence regarding the accident. She reportedly pleaded not guilty, her attorney Blair Berk confirmed.
On Tuesday, Berk went to the courtroom in Los Angeles to enter plea. Lori was scheduled to return to court on Feb. 28 for a pre-trial hearing. As it turns out, model was taken into custody at that time for the incident after she was cited with a ticket though. And police confirmed that alcohol was not the factor.
Reportedly, hours before the incident happened, Harvey was seen coming out of Nobu in Malibu with her female friend.
