It’s been over a year of the mind blowing last season of The Dragon Prince that aired on Netflix. Fans are now wondering and losing their patient on the wait for the fourth season of The Dragon Prince.
The Dragon Prince is a Netflix cartoon American-Canadian top most fantasy anime TV series created by Aaron Ehasz and Justin Richmond. It is produced by Wonderstorm and animated by Bardel Entertainment. Along with the former editor in chief of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aaron Ehasz at helm, The Dragon Prince has gained its popularity and huge fan base.
The dragon prince’s first ever season premiered about two years back in the September of 2018. Following that, the second season came out the next year that is February 2019. And the last season as of now, that is the third season was released in November of 2019.
Over the years, The Dragon Prince has become one of the most successful animated franchises on Netflix.
Its Renewal Status
With each passing season, the show’s popularity and hype among the anime fans have consistently increased. Keeping in mind that The Dragon Prince has also been critically acclaimed as one of the best fantasy anime series on TV.
So it wouldn’t be true if Netflix don’t come up with yet another season. It would be totally unfair.
Also a good news, that the entire cast of The Dragon Prince is going to appear at the Comic-con virtual panel, on July 24th, 2020. They’ll be answering all your questions and doubts about the upcoming season or the future of the show.
The Possible Reason for The Cancellation of the Show
Although, the only possible reason for the cancellation of The Dragon Prince’s upcoming season or we might say that the entire future of the show is based on this reason, is the allegations. The allegations that have been made on Aaron Ehasz, the creator of the show. That he’s been accused of creating an “abusive environment for women” on the sets.
Although, no factual proof of that has been out yet or any sort of confirmation whatsoever, we’re still hoping for the right thing to happen/ right action to be taken. As no actor should suffer just for the sake of a project.
And I’m sure fans are that considerate and understanding that they’ll understand the circumstances and wait for the final announcement by the cast itself on July 24th, 2020.
