The 3rd season of the American teen drama 13 Reasons Why ended with the death of Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice) and the story is expected to continue further as the mystery is yet to uncover and it would be quite interesting to find out what would happen next in season 4, though nothing much about the fourth season is announced and the official release date of the television series is yet to be confirmed. Since its first release on 31 March 2017, it is hard to tell about the release date of the fourth and the final season, as the series did not had a fix pattern of its releases, however we can expect that the finale season would be released this year in 2020
The final season would have 13 episodes like the previous seasons had and would revolve around the cast which would be graduating from high school and it would finally be the natural conclusion of the show as said in a statement by Netflix.
The previous seasons cast like Dylan Minnette as Clay Jensen, Christian Navarro as Tony Padilla, Alisha Boe as Jessica Davis, Brandon Flynn as Justin Foley, Miles Heizer as Alex Standall, Ross Butler as Zach Dempsey, Devin Druid as Tyler Down, Amy Hargreaves as Lainie Jensen, Anne Winters as Chlöe Rice, Steven Weber as Gary Bolan, Grace Saif as Ani Achola are expected to make a comeback.
Gary Sinise who is known for his role in Forrest Gump and HBO’s 1995 presidential biopic- Truman will be joining the main cast playing the role of Dr.Robert Ellman. He would play the role of a family therapist who will be seen helping Clay Jensen battle anxiety and depression. It can be said that the final season would take some interesting twist and turns and would be about flashbacks. Though the third season saw the death of Justin Prentice, his character is expected to appear in flashbacks.
The trailer is yet to release and fans need to wait for the finale season to really uncover the story of the 13 Reasons Why.
