Produced by Shonda Rhimes and ABC Studio, How to Get Away With Murder is an American law-related thriller television series that premiered back in September 2014.
With the completion of almost 85 scenes, How To Get Away With Murder is ready with its last and final season, after which it will be going off-air.
ABC Studios has announced that the show will air in April 2020. A particular date hasn’t been announced, though, but the announcement of the month of release was enough to ignite our excitement.
The show will also be available on Netflix soon.
TRAILER AND TEASERS:
The show is known for its twists and turns. In such a condition, an early release of teaser wouldn’t be fair to our favorite series, especially since this is the last time we’ll be seeing it up there.
The show is tightly-knotted around Annalise Keating and her group of aspiring law students. With a different back story, each of the main characters has a lot to bring to the table. With every season, their lives get more and more entangled, and more murders happening with each passing episode. True to its name, our mains try and get away with murder.
With so many loose threads hanging around Keating, it seems that it will all make sense this time, and all the intriguing pieces will make up the final picture!
AWARDS AND CRITICISM:
Davis ( Annalise Keating) was the first black woman to win Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a drama series. The show has been nominated for multiple awards and received many of them too.
It has been critically acclaimed for its boldness towards LGBTQ as well.
For a series that is bold enough to kill off its lead characters, a revelation of its cast members could also be a spoiler. However, the main characters who were alive (at least till the sixth season) might appear for this one as well. These include:
Viola Davis as Annalise Keating
Billy Brown as Nate Lahey
Jack Falahee as Connor Walsh
Aja Naomi King as Michaela Pratt
Matt McGorry as Ash Millstone
Karla Souza as Laurel Castillo ( she went missing in the last closing scene of the last season though)
Charlie Weber as Frank
Liza Weil as Bonnie Winterbottom
