Fans Are Angry As Margot Robbie is Going to Replace Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6

Disney announced that actress Margot Robbie will lead the cast for the upcoming sixth installment of popular film series, Pirates of the Caribbean.

Johnny Depp’s fans are now utterly frustrated with Mouse House after realizing that he won’t be starring in the upcoming sequel. Disney has planned to produce to Pirates movie, but neither of them will feature Johnny Depp. Fans are upset that the man who took the franchise to such heights is being removed horribly.

Margot Robbie starrer Pirates movie will be the sixth installment or the sequel in the original Pirates movie. Birds of Prey screenwriter, Christina Hodson will write the movie in which Margot Robbie will lead the cast. Likewise, a separate reboot is also being made with Karen Gillen as the female lead. Craig Mazin, the brain behind HBO’s blockbuster disaster-drama Chernobyl will pen the story for a reboot.

Jack Sparrow isn’t returning…

Despite having two films planned already, producer Jerry Bruckheimer is still unsure about the future of Johnny Depp’s character. Some reports claimed that the filmmakers are planning to kill off his character to bring an end to his iconic character. Well, a Pirates movie without Depp’s Jack Sparrow is almost unimaginable. The actor had mastered the role, and everyone believes that he was born to play the character.

The uncertainty in Depp’s future with the franchise came after his legal battle with former wife, Amber Heard. Amber Heard accused Johnny Depp that he had physically abused her. However, Depp later produced evidence suggesting that Heard was the one who perpetrated domestic violence. Johnny Depp has now filed USD$50 million defamation lawsuit against the actress for her false accusations.

Fans tweeted on Twitter that if Disney doesn’t include Johnny Depp in any of the upcoming movies, they wouldn’t show up at the theaters. The later few movies in the franchise were saved due to the brilliant performance of Depp, while the movie received huge negative reviews.
