Fleabag is a British comedy-drama television series created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, based on her one-woman show first performed in 2013. It was originally produced by Two Brothers Pictures for the digital channel BBC Three in a co-production agreement with Amazon Studios.

The second season of The Fleabag series was declared to be the concluding season when it was premiered on April 8, 2019. The original show was released on July 21, 2016. Hence, so far, we haven’t any official comments from the makers about the third installment of the series. There is scarcely a possibility that there willbe a Season 3, but there is no denying either. Neither teaser nor trailer has been released as yet.

The initial idea of the character of Fleabag actually came from a challenge by a friend, where Waller-Bridge was given the task of creating a sketch for a 10-minute section in a stand-up storytelling night! The Fleabag is a tragicomedy, revolving around the life of a free-spirited and sassy, but angry and confused, young woman in London. It explores her journey, poignant and hilarious at the same time, as she tries to cope with tragedy and to heal herself while rejecting any outside help. The show has a whopping score on IMDB of 8.7/10; and then follows a whole list of awards!!
