Katy Perry went SUICIDAL after Break up with Orlando Bloom in 2017, She Was Devastated and Didn’t Had Control Over Herself

Popular music artist, Katy Perry recently opened up about her mental health challenges and struggles over the years. In an interview with radio host, Tom Power of Q on CBC, she revealed that she had suicidal thoughts after her separation with Orlando Bloom in 2017.

Roar singer Katy Perry and actor Orlando Bloom started dating back in 2016. They remained private for some time, but later everyone knew they had been together. The duo split a year later in February 2017. The reports claimed that the entertainers had decided to take a respectful and loving space. However, no one knew what triggered the separation.

The couple again started seeing each other after five months, in August 2017. Perry reportedly claimed that she was no longer a single in May 2018. After announcing that she is no longer single, they appeared on several occasions regularly. The even made a red-carpet appearance as a couple in September 2018. The 35-year-old singer and the 43-year-old actor got engaged on 14 February 2019, on Valentine’s Day.


Perry told Power that her career was going up and up but a small shift of separation with Bloom was seismic for her. She quoted how the ship lands on another continent if there is just one degree of navigation. She mentioned that the separation had broken her into half, which brought suicidal thoughts in her. Dark Horses hit-maker claimed that faith helped her to get over with. The healing has now made her more dimensional, not just a thirsty pop icon.

She later found ways to be grateful. She overcame sadness and stopped herself from jumping off. Katy Perry recently released her new single, Never Worn White, in March 2020. She also revealed that the sixth album is on its way and she is expecting first child with Orlando Bloom. The sixth album will drop on August 14, this year. She recently appeared in American Idol’s eighteenth season as a member of the judging panel.
