Floor is Lava season 2

Floor is Lava is a game show based on the children’s game that premiered on Netflix in 2020. The show is back with season 2. The series received renewed interest after being mentioned in the Netflix mockumentary Death to 2020.

Just like the children’s game, the game show puts the contestants through an obstacle course, but the game show course is surrounded by red goop that simulates the lava they must avoid. Winners receive $10,000 in prize money and a trophy in the shape of a lava lamp.

The show used movies like Indiana Jones and National Treasure as inspiration for the obstacle course.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (season 1)

The Nickelodeon series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series initially released in 2012, now has season 1 available to stream on Netflix.

The reboot of the TMNT franchise on Nickelodeon was a two-part campaign with this series and the Winx Club series. Ahead of the premiere of TMNT, a line of merchandise was introduced, and this series would receive the highest debut rankings for the network since 2009.

This series is the third animated feature in the franchise and would see the team emerging from their home in the sewer utilizing their ninjutsu training to fight crime in present-day New York City.

The Umbrella Academy season 3 – coming soon

June 22 marks the release of the third season of The Umbrella Academy. So, there is no better time to watch or rewatch the first two seasons in preparation.

This series is based on the same-titled comic series that follows a group of dysfunctional adopted siblings born on the same day in different parts of the world. They stage their reunion after the death of their father and work to solve the mystery of his death when the world is on the verge of an apocalyptic threat.

The series stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Mary J. Blige, Cameron Britton, John Magaro, Adam Godley, Colm Feore, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, Yusuf Gatewood, Marin Ireland and Kate Walsh.

The first two seasons have received positive critical reviews and season 1 was one of the most-streamed series during 2019, the year of its release.

As the Crow Flies season 1

The first season of the Turkish series As the Crow Flies is now available to stream. This series is one of scandal and if you enjoyed Love 101, another Turkish Netflix hit, be sure to add As the Crow Flies to your queue. Merci Acemi wrote both series.

This series pits a seasoned anchor of Gen X and a Gen Z super fan who maneuvers her way into a job in the successful newsroom of her idol. The generation gap is quite evident in both characters’ work ethics, and this series looks at how each will handle what comes their way. Will Gen Z cave to the dark side of ambition, envy and desire to be seen?
