Ginny and Georgia season 2 is not coming to Netflix in June 2022! Yes, we know it’s already been over a year since the addictive drama first dropped on the streamer, but haven’t you heard the saying ‘patience is bitter … but its fruit is sweeter’?
In fact, the series, which follows “angsty and awkward” 15-year-old Ginny Miller (Antonia Gentry) and her erratic yet charming mom, Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey), doesn’t seem like it will be back for a while yet… but don’t despair! The wait shouldn’t be too long … we hope!
The second season of Ginny and Georgia has been in high demand, especially after the cliffhanging ending, so it’s unsurprising that many have been eager to learn the future of the mother-daughter coming-of-age-murder-dramedy series. On April 19, 2021, shortly after its initial release, Netflix confirmed that season 2 is in the works, so what’s the delay? When will we get Ginny and Georgia season 2?

Ginny and Georgia season 2 release date update
Although at the moment there isn’t an official release date for the series, at the end of April 2022, the official behind-the-scenes Instagram account for Ginny and Georgia, run by show creator Sarah Lampert, announced that the second season has finished filming, and revealed they’re heading into “post-production”.
Typically post-production can take anywhere between six and eight months to complete (of course, there are special cases when this time frame is extended even further), so at the earliest, we could potentially see Ginny and Georgia season 2 in October 2022.
Needless to say that this is just our own prediction, purely based on the typical post-production time frame, so we could be very wrong. Until we have an official release date confirmation from Netflix, we would suggest taking this information in with a grain of salt.
