Inside Job season 2 happening at Netflix

-

We finally have some news regarding Inside Job and it’s that the adult animated series has been renewed for a second season! At Netflix Geeked Week, the streamer announced that an Inside Job season 2 is in the works, and we’re over the moon about this great news. But not only was there a renewal announcement. Netflix also released a clip of the opening from Inside Job season 1 part 2!

Inside Job was created by Shion Takeuchi. She is also the showrunner and executive producer. You might be familiar with Takeuchi for her work on the Disney Channel animated series Gravity FallsGravity Falls creator Alex Hirsch and Netflix’s BoJack Horseman director Mike Hollingsworth also signed on as executive producers.

According to Netflix, the adult animated original series is “about the shadow government– and the dysfunctional team whose daily grind is committing the world’s conspiracies. From convoluted coverups to secret societies to masked orgy etiquette, navigating office culture at Cognito Inc. can be tricky, especially for anti-social tech genius Reagan Ridley.”

Lizzy Caplan voices the protagonist, Reagan Ridley. Starring alongside Caplan is Christian Slater, Clark Duke, Tisha Campbell, Andrew Daly, John DiMaggio, Bobby Lee, Brett Gelman, and many others. Inside Job season 1 part 1 premiered on Netflix in October 2021 and fans were wondering when the last batch of episodes of the season would drop. We thought the release date for Inside Job season 1 part 2 would be announced at Netflix Geeked Week, but that wasn’t the case. However, we did get a teaser for part 2 and an Inside Job season 2 renewal announcement.

Inside Job season 2 renewed on Netflix

When Netflix ordered Inside Job season 1, the streamer ordered 20 episodes. So when we saw the release of only 10 episodes in October, we thought that Netflix would drop the last 10 episodes in a second season. But it looks like the streamer decided to give fans more than what they expected. On June 8 at Netflix Geeked Week, Netflix announced Inside Job season 2 is officially happening. Sadly, the streamer didn’t reveal anything else about the upcoming second season. We’ll likely be waiting a while before Netflix releases more details, but we’ll constantly keep you posted on where Inside Job is in the filmmaking process for season 2.

Inside Job season 1 part 2 teaser

Here’s a teaser from Inside Job season 1 part 2 for a sneak peek of what’s to come!

As we mentioned earlier, Netflix has not announced the release date for Inside Job season 1 part 2 yet, but we think there’s a good chance we’ll see the final part by the end of 2022. Stay tuned to Gizmo Blaze for more news and coverage on Inside Job!
