One of the biggest family movies of the past year will be making its way to Netflix in June 2022, and it’ll have the whole house singing its praises. Sing 2, the sequel to the 2016 hit, arrives on Netflix this month. Talk about starting the summer off right!
The movie picks up following the events of the first movie and finds Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey) leading his group through a show in Redshore City. In their attempts to impress a hot-shot entertainment mogul, they also try to pull in a major rock star to perform.
Besides McConaughey, Sing 2 also features the voices of Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Bobby Cannavale, Tori Kelly, Nick Kroll, Pharrell Williams, Halsey, Chelsea Peretti, Letitia Wright, Eric André, Nick Offerman, Bono, and more.
But when can families start tuning into the animated musical blockbuster on Netflix? Here’s when Sing 2 starts streaming on Netflix and exactly what time you have to set your reminders.
When is Sing 2 released on Netflix?
Sing 2 will start streaming on Netflix on Wednesday, June 22. The animated film will arrive at 12 a.m. PT, which is 3 a.m. ET. Of course, that’s a little late for the family to stay up to watch a movie together, but it will be there waiting for you during the weekend.
