The comedy series Loot starring Maya Rudolph, promises to be a laugh-out-loud riot that will undoubtedly entertain viewers. But is it one of the many hilarious choices ready to stream on Netflix?
Rudolph stars and serves as executive producer on the series that includes a star-studded cast working beside her, including talented individuals like Pose‘s Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Disenchantment star Nat Faxon, Fire Island‘s Joel Kim Booster, and Harley Quinn‘s Ron Funches. The only thing better than the excellent lineup is the comical narrative.
The story for Loot follows Rudolph’s lead character Molly Novak, a woman who has recently divorced her husband after 20 years and isn’t sure what to do with her lucrative $87 million settlement. In a valiant effort to find herself and reconnect with the real world, she makes the bold attempt to jump back into her charitable foundation with silly results to follow.
The clever comedy series was created by Matt Hubbard and Alan Yang. In addition, Loot is off to a pretty solid start already, having garnered an impressive score on Rotten Tomatoes and has achieved generally favorable reviews on Metacritic, adding to the many reasons it should not be slept on by audiences.
Is Loot available on Netflix?
Anything starring Rudolph is a worthwhile affair, and subscribers would most assuredly find the show quite entertaining from start to finish. But unfortunately, they will not get to witness what the series has to offer because Loot is not an option on Netflix, and it seems rather unlikely that the situation will change any time in the near future.
Luckily, Netflix does have an ample amount of comedy shows ready to stream right now. Some of these excellent examples of sidesplitting titles include Space Force, Big Mouth and Masters of None, just to name a few.
