Blasted synopsis
Inspired by the Norwegian UFO phenomenon comes a science-fiction movie about a group of childhood friends who get together for a game of laser tag, but things quickly go left when an alien invasion occurs. Fortunately for the group of friends, the lasers can kill aliens, but getting rid of all of them will be no easy task.
Here’s the official synopsis via Netflix below:
Blasted follows childhood friends Sebastian (Axel Bøyum) and Mikkel (Fredrik Skogsrud), who are reunited for Sebastian’s bachelor party. While Mikkel never matured past teenage laser tag-prodigy, Sebastian has grown into a career-obsessed workaholic who’s using the party to schmooze a potential client. But when the bachelor party stumbles head-first into an alien invasion, it’s up to Mikkel and Sebastian to reunite as the kick-ass lasertag duo they once were and fight back.
Blasted parents guide and age rating
The film is rated TV-MA, meaning it’s for mature audiences only. The reason for this age rating is because there will be some content shown that many parents would deem inappropriate for younger kids to be watching. Some of the inappropriate content includes severe violence, use of various weapons like guns, kissing scenes, and alcohol use. There will also be many intense, frightening scenes and profanity used by some of the characters. Blasted is definitely a movie you should watch when no kids are around.
