We’re ready for another summer with the Pogues. The bad news is we’re not getting that this month. The wait for Outer Banks season 3 continues.
If there’s something we’re more than ready for, it’s to enter back into the world of the Pogues. There’s a new member of the group, and there’s a new mystery to unravel. At what point will John B find out that his dad is alive after all?
However long it takes, we don’t get to see the story play out just yet. We’ve double-checked the list of Netflix releases in July just in case, but this series is not on there. Just how long will we need to wait for Outer Banks season 3? That’s the top question for all Pogues out there.
When will Outer Banks season 3 come to Netflix?
As of right now, Netflix hasn’t set the date. However, there is a possibility that it is arriving in 2022. Right now, there’s a rumor that Outer Banks season 3 will arrive in December 2022. Of course, there was also a rumor last year that there wouldn’t be a third season, so we take rumors around this series with a grain of salt.
The good news is the show doesn’t take too long in post-production. We saw filming of the second season wrap in April 2021 and the season arrive on Netflix in July 2021. The bad news is filming for this season isn’t set to wrap until August of this year. That suggests November 2022 at the very earliest, but we’re probably looking at early 2023 instead. This is a series that works better for the summer, but we can’t see Netflix making us wait until summer 2023!
Andy McQueen, Fiona Palomo, and Lou Ferrigno are joining the series. McQueen is one for the Pogues to watch out for as his character, Carlos Singh, is on a mission for the gold. Meanwhile, Palomo plays Sofia who identifies as a Pogue but wants to be a Kook, and she forms a relationship with Rafe to gain that. Ferringo Jr. is Ryan, Carlos’s top security officer, so the Pogues will want to watch out there, too.
Stay tuned for the latest updates about Outer Banks and more.
