Netflix shows: The Lincoln Lawyer
Seasons: 1
Created By: David E. Kelley

If we were giving out an award for the best new Netflix show of 2022 (and we will later this year), we would probably give it to The Lincoln Lawyer — and we’re only halfway through the year. The series, which is based on the books by Michael Connelly, was also a huge hit.
Besides being based on the same character from the same series of books, Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer has no connection to the movie of the same name starring Matthew McConaughey. In fact, it’s not based on the titular book, instead adapting The Brass Verdict.
Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, gets back to work after a year away and takes on perhaps the most challenging murder case of his career. From beginning to end, The Lincoln Lawyer keeps you guessing and wondering who actually did it and why.
Thankfully, Netflix renewed The Lincoln Lawyer for a second season and the series will continue, this time adapting a different book in the series. And given how much of a must-watch this show is, there will be many, many more seasons to come in the future.
