The last two episodes of Stranger Things season 4 brought with them some deaths, and the finale was a complete tearjerker. One of those moments was when Max died. Eleven somehow revived her, but her fate still isn’t in a positive light.

I think we were all happy to see Papa gone once and for all. I think the whole Stranger Things fanbase was SO worried about Steve’s fate. Thankfully our favorite guy is fine! At least for now. The biggest heart-wrenching death this season, and probably from any other season, was Eddie’s. The wonderful metal head and D&D nerd touched our hearts, and he will never be forgotten.
With the deaths that happened this season, you might be wondering if all of our favorite main characters made it out alive. And one of those is Mike Wheeler.
Does Mike die in Stranger Things season 4 volume 2?
Thankfully, Mike is not one of Vecna’s victims and doesn’t get caught in the crossfire. He spent the mostly in California to visit Eleven during spring break. When El goes with Dr. Owens to work on The Nina Project with him and Dr. Brenner, Mike, Will, Jonathan, and Argyle end up on a journey to find her as she’s been taken to a secret location.
The young couple spent most of the season apart and don’t reunite until episode 8. Eventually, and Mike finally tells his superhero that he loves her in a sweet moment between the two. In the third season and this season, the writers have thrown lots of conflict at the couple.
But I think in season 5, they’re going to be united since they’re finally in a good place. And really, all of our Hawkins heroes are going to need to be in the right headspace for what comes next!
