Who is this Guide intended for?

Whether a newbie, hobbyist, veteran, or pro, The Shonen Jump Guide To Making Manga has something for everyone to enjoy. The Guide has 178 pages and is 5.75 x 0.45 x 8.25 inches.

The pre-order ends on October 18, 2022, and most sites sell it for $16.99 in a physical copy. However, if you prefer a digital version, Amazon offers it through their Kindle App for $10.99.

The Guide also contains commentary and advice from Eiichiro Oda of One Piece, Tite Kubo of Bleach, Shun Saeki of Food Wars, Kaiu Shirai & Posuka Demizu of The Promised Neverland, Yusei Matsui of Assassination Classroom, Kohei Horikoshi of My Hero Academia, and more!

Will this Guide help make you a better artist?

If you put in enough practice, then anything is possible. Shonen Jump is home to some of the most popular manga and anime on the market, and being able to sell your art/stories is a dream many share.

But you’ll never know if you’ll be able to do it until you try. I’m the kind of artist who needs guides and tutorials to draw anything.

The average background takes me about two hours to draw. Unfortunately, my coloring skills are sloppy, and my characters never look how I want them to.

And that’s fine. Just ask ONE. Because I’m not the only one struggling with this, let me end this with some advice. YouTube has thousands of videos dedicated to helping you create art.

The internet is a double-edged sword, but if you draw for yourself and are happy with the result, that’s what matters. On the other hand, if you want to make a manga, don’t forget the story!

Anatomy is complicated, and the hands and feet are the banes of many artists. Practice isn’t about perfection, it’s about progress, and everything you do is progress!
