Eren Yeager’s final Titan awakening in the series has a true name, according to Attack on Titan‘s original creator!

The third (and likely final) installment of the fourth and final season of the anime is currently being worked on, however, the original manga series ended quite some time ago.

Fans are now arguing over whether the series’ conclusion is good as is and whether the anime would adapt it exactly. However, those are by far means the only queries viewers had about the show after it ended.

Eren’s titan final form

Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 2 is getting ready for its upcoming Blu-ray and DVD home media release in other countries, and the show’s official Twitter account has shared some slick new artwork of Eren’s most recent transformation, which viewers see at the end of Part 2’s episodes.

The creator of the series, Hajime Isayama, has offered the name of this new form to the staff of the anime as this form was never given an official name within the setting of the original manga. The “Final Titan” name has been given to this Eren form, as fans would have predicted.

Check out the official tweet below:

Neither throughout the manga run of the series nor during the current anime season was Eren’s last transformation (at least for the time being) given its correct name. Eren used the power of the Founding Titan to create this form, and after holding Zeke and his blood captive, he released it alongside the Rumbling to wipe out the rest of the world outside of the island of Paradis.

Fans are excited to see how the anime wraps up this story because it was here that the Final Titan’s terrifying form took shape at the end of the second part.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3: What we know so far

Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 3 will premiere sometime around the Winter 2023 anime release schedule. Since it was verified to be under production, there haven’t been many updates. Although it is likely that this will be the anime’s final outing, the franchise as a whole may continue after this.

The “Attack on Titan Final Season SPECIAL EVENT 2022” was recently announced to commemorate the release of the show’s final season. This event will take place in addition to the home video releases of Attack on Titan: The Final Season – Part 2 and the upcoming release of Part 3.

An orchestral concert showcasing the works of series composer Kohta Yamamoto will open the event, which is scheduled to begin on November 13, 202w. The event will also have a voice actors panel, featuring Yuki Kaji (Eren), Marina Inoue (Armin), Yui Ishikawa (Mikasa), Kisho Taniyama (Jean), and Ayane Sakura (Gabi).

What do you think of the title given to Eren’s last titan form by the Attack on Titan creator? How did you find the overall series finale? Share your opinions about it in the comments section.
