There are so many thriller films slated to come to Netflix this year, and we can’t wait to watch every single one! The Good Nurse is a thriller film everyone should be on the lookout for because of the amazingly talented cast and story. The Good Nurse is helmed by Academy-nominated director Tobias Lindholm from a script written by Krysty Wilson-Cairns. It’s based on the 2013 novel titled the same name by Charles Graeber. FilmNation Entertainment and Protozoa Pictures produced the film.
Lionsgate was initially set to distribute the movie before the entertainment company bowed out sometime in 2020. In 2021, Netflix bought streaming rights to the film for $25 million at the Berlin European Film Market, and now the thriller is a Netflix original movie.

The Good Nurse release updates
There isn’t an official release date yet. However, Netflix has announced it will be coming out in fall 2022. This means we’ll see the film land on Netflix somewhere between September and December. Hopefully, it’s given a September release. If so, Netflix will likely announce the official release date sometime in August. We got to see a quick glimpse of the movie in the Netflix 2022 Movie Preview video. A sneak peek pops up at the 1:45-1:46 mark.
