Now that The Sandman is streaming on Netflix, everyone is quickly making their way through the entire first season. This season, viewers meet several interesting characters, but none quite stands out like Lucifer Morningstar (Gwendoline Christie).

The first season follows immortal being Morpheus, also known as Dream of the Endless (Tom Sturridge). After spending over a century in captivity, Dream finally breaks free from his captors and heads out on a journey to find his stolen artifacts and repair his now broken kingdom. While on his journey, Dream meets with different people to retrieve his stolen goods. At one point during his quest, Dream travels all the way to Hell.

Then comes Lucifer Morningstar, played by Gwendoline Christie. Lucifer is not one to be messed with. She was once the most powerful angel in Heaven until God cast her out for her rebellious ways. Now, she’s the ruler of Hell and has her own personal vendetta against Dream.

While watching The Sandman, you might’ve noticed how tall Lucifer is. When Lucifer stands next to several other characters in the show, there’s a drastic height difference. In order to figure out Lucifer’s height, you must know the actress behind the character’s height. We shared The Sandman star’s height right below!

How tall is The Sandman star Gwendoline Christie?

According to Pop Sugar, Gwendoline Christie stands at 6 feet 3 inches tall. Lucifer is likely the same height. The stunning actress is 11 inches taller than the average height for a female, which is 5 feet 4 inches. Gwendoline is one of the tallest people in The Sandman cast. She is most close in height to her co-stars Boyd Holbrook who is 6 feet 2 inches and Charles Dance who is 6 feet 3 inches.

Check out this official production still from The Sandman of Lucifer and Dream standing next to each other.

You can see the height difference between Lucifer and Dream very clearly in the photo above. Lucifer is easily towering over Dream. Although Lucifer is powerful, Dream is just as powerful, if not more, so Lucifer’s tall stature most likely doesn’t scare Dream. In real life, Tom Sturridge stands at 5 feet 10 inches tall, which means Gwendoline is five inches taller than him.

You can catch Gwendoline Christie as Lucifer Morningstar in The Sandman streaming now only on Netflix!
